He could well be the Finnish Ricky, BUT free rather than 8.5m quid. Depth I'd say, with
the small possibility of being a very pleasant surprise, or at least competition for whoever else we've got.
He failed at Celtic and at 28 this is pretty much his last chance of proving himself in a decent (although not top) footballing league. He also has a point to prove.
Would also like to pick up a proven goalscorer, but our system is designed for goals to come from the front 3 and the #10, not just primarily the striker, so if we don't get one then I won't lose any sleep over it. I still think Nelson is good enough if he sorts his head out.

- Agree about Nelson. 18 months ago he was an £8-10m asset. Still a top player in there. (n/m) (NCFC) - derbyshire canary, Jul 4, 20:15:00

- I think it's possible, but the price must be right. Let's wait for a few more weeks. (n/m) (NCFC) - derbyshire canary, Jul 4, 20:16:10
