Insists that the Canaries can still make the play-offs despite being annihilated 1-4 against Crystal Palace last weekend. Russell, whose Stoke team have lost 17 league games this season said "Norwich have lost one less league game than ourselves and I see no reason why they can not make the play-offs still."

"I was upset that Nigel Worthington sold me, but when I realised he was going to replace me with a stream of midfielders that cant pass and can hoof the ball I realised he had made the right decision."

Russell, who could pass the ball, was sold after attacking the game when the Canaries were sitting on a 1-0 lead.
