last time I checked Amazon was chock full of third party retailers all competing against each other on price
Amazon is simply shifting from being a retailer to a platform/distribution network
the change on the high street that we are seeing is that people are too lazy/anti-social to want to spend time going into town centres to shop and home delivery costs are falling/being accepted as the new normal.
Companies that can adapt to that will thrive, those who can't, won't. Problem for the likes of HoF and Poundworld is that their USPs are no longer relevant.
