Here's the thing that I haven't quite followed in the recent Madderz drama

Of course it would be lovely for him if he gets to switch to a top Premier League club and pretty cool for us if we get paid a nice big sum for him, but that can't have been the original plan Shirley?

I would have thought the original plan for Maddison was to be a replacement for Wes. I'm not even sure if he would have got into the team at the start of the season if Pritchard had been fit. And if this is the case, I can't see why we are reliant on selling him. Of course it would be a nice bonus to get lots of money for him but not the end of the world if we don't I'd have thought.

Anyway, I don't understand all the doomy gloomy comments there have been on here lately.
