Yes, true, in the short term anyway. He's shocked some advantage out of his opponents by

being so unlike anything they've seen before, and having the weight of the US economy behind his bully boy tactics. I've said before that I think some of his instincts are right, but he may be in for a difficult second season when China, NK,Iran, the EU etc. have worked him out.
