RE Whitby

went there last year. Went up the 199 steps to the abbey and watched a play in the grounds about Dracula. Was also given a device with headphones with great stories to hear at different points around the grounds. The beach is very good, great fish n chips, lots of fantastic views. Even Wetherspoons has seating outside by the docks and fishing boats; which is nice on a evening. I think Whitby would also be fab in the winter cos it's an atmospheric place. Combined with visiting York, I had a fantastic time.
