In 9/11 I lot an ex colleague who was a Sunderland fan and think of him before those games

But yesterday I surprised myself as I had completely forgotten his name.

The memories of him remained but the name had completely disappeared so mainly to remind myself please can those of you that are going tonight pause for a second or two in memory of Gavin McMahon who worked in the second tower and was one of those effervescent characters that would have fitted in well amongst the WOTB community.

There is supposed to be a tribute to him at the stadium but this may only be a plaque on a wall amongst many others.

Hopefully this will serve to add the name to the memories.
