I was interested in the machinery, but it's brilliantly done and is very humorous and has a social history to it as well.
The old adverts from 40's and 50's with ladies in Marilyn Monroe dresses mowing the lawn, implying in wonderful, sexist language of the day, that EVEN a mere woman can cut the grass on our new mower, are seriously Mr Chumley Warnerish. Prob not worth a specific visit to Southport, but if you are in the area, def worth it, as is the Atkinson Museum in Southport too
