Don't disagree that the basics are a problem too
As stated below, Farke takes blame for that by not playing the strongest line up possible. A weak midfield with little defensive solidity, full backs who can't defend. Those are the basics.
Of course tactics make a difference, but part of that is finding a set up that allows your team to be full of players that can do the basics properly.
