I agree, but as mentioned to Jim, attacking like that leads to problems in defence

with this squad of players.

Unless we play 3 at the back with a double cdm pivot, which causes problems to the attacking side of the game and so on and so forth.

If this team had rapid full backs with crisp tackling and good crossing ability from out wide it would help a lot. The team lacks genuine width to pull apart defences, which often means the opposition can stay can compact, while a lot of our play is made centrally and in front of them. This is a bigger problem if the opposition team sits deep as there's no space to exploit in behind. Yesterday Fulham played quite high up the pitch, but Murphy was the only sprinter in attack and he kept breaking up our own counter attacks.

Having a faster squad in general would help, as most of the players are slow or one paced, which means we're overly reliant on Murphy and Hernandez in attack, while either having to sit deep or play three at the back to keep tight at the back. A genuinely good natural number 9 is also sorely lacking, plus a wide forward with a consistent end product (hopefully Hernandez becomes that player).
