There are different ways of rebuilding on a lower budget. And the Farke-Webber way hasn't been successful so far. Maybe it will work long term, perhaps not.

But justifying the poor performances this season as part of 'rebuilding' is not really a definitive response. Because we could be rebuilding in a way which is completely unsuitable to playing in the Championship.
