Hucks was great last year

when on a snowy day in February last year I drove up from Colchester with my then 8 year old son to Colney. Hucks arranged for us to meet the players in the players canteen after training and I got some great pictures of Duncan with the players. The continental players were the most friendly and took the time to chat in impeccable English to Duncan. Leon and Flem were also great. Green was surly and the least friendly.

I also met with Steve Foley and recommended to him that the club should be taking a look at Greg Halford. I have no doubt that at that time or even in the summer we could have got him for considerably less than the price we have spent on transfer fees and wages on our other midfield signings. It beggars belief that ever since Harper was signed on loan that we have not had a specialist right sided midfield player in the squad.
