My ex wife almost managed to drown our car and two dogs once. Pulled up at camp site in
Italy, facing right onto bank of a lake (Lago di Ledro).
I was putting up the tent and saw something move out of the corner of my eye. Thankfully the window on the side I was standing was just open enough for me to reach in and put on the hand brake before it disappeared over the edge. Front wheels were already over. Dogs on the back seat were both looking a little concerned.
Entire campsite came out to have a bloody good laugh at us and watch the car being winched back by a Land Rover, so thankfully it was rescued into being nothing other than an amusing story. But it is easily done.
