I'm not sure how huge £3.5m would be, if we are probably selling Maddison and Oliveira for the best part of £30m in the summer though.

And isn't that just part of running a football club; balancing the future (academy) with the present? The club has been incredibly poorly run for the last few years if it hasn't got the academy in order despite all the money it received. This is the flavour of the month today, but who knows what it will be in five years - whoever is CEO then?
