The last share issue

Even at the time I referred to them as raffle tickets to buy Darren Huckerby. Had the money then so bought a couple, with no expectation of ever getting any money back. Attended a few AGM’s, including the infamous Roeder meltdown - which was entertaining and instructive in equal measure. Remember McNally and Bowketts presentation of the 5 year plan as we narrowly avoided bankruptcy.
I saw it as my contribution to keeping DH, and then had the pleasure of seeing what he brought to the club. Not everything is measured by ROI .....

It’s been clear from the outset that the current owners may have many strengths in their own fields, but not much nous when it comes to football. Some disastrous manager choices - we’ve done better when they accept their limitations and leave the business end of things to others. This seems to be the latest step in that direction & should be given a chance. I’m quietly encouraged and happy to see a route tried that doesn’t involve some investor with no emotional ties to the club splashing the cash for a short term fix ..... I would appreciate less nepotism, but hope Webber is strong enough to resist and keep the project on track.
