don't play intricate possession football with players who haven't got the ability to play it at a suitable tempo and with enough quality.

Play a direct style, play for transitions, press the opposition, play a high intensity style. Play to the strengths of the players - which isn't technical one touch football - rather than shoehorning them into a philosophy which hasn't worked at home all season, and still isn't working.
