The idea was if you whistled it and it was catchy, others liked it and there's the new thing

Whispering Bob is great and a legend but his ethos took over the show into a folk thing. It didn't set out to be that

Annie Nightingale should be viewed upon in the same way as Peel, not somebody who changed the OGWT from what it was. Bob Harris changed it from what it was all on his own
