he'd be a reasonably good signing

if our only aim next year is to stay in the division. If we are aiming to get promoted, I think we'd be better off taking a gamble on someone else.

He's not even first choice in his favoured position for a team currently in 14th. Not sure we should push the boat out too much to get him.
