As stated before, it's clearly not a system/formation issue

Farke played an attacking line up against a poor Bolton side. Norwich created chances, yet didn't score. That's not a condemnation of the set up today as the team played well at times and really had to have a go against a relegation battling side, but this Norwich squad just can't be relied upon to score enough goals.

Play like this with this set up (and late gung ho line up in particular) against better teams and Norwich will be picked off on the counter. There's a good reason why Farke wanted to stick with the third cb set up before Klose became unavailable.

This will continue to be a problem until genuine upgrades are signed in forward positions, regardless of systems or formations. Quality forwards (relative to the level they're playing at) will score goals in any set up, regardless.

Hopefully some of those criticising Farke's recent approach to games (particularly at home) realise and or accept all of this now. He's doing a good job with the squad he has at his disposal. It's a transitional season and Webber has admitted that the squad isn't quite right yet, which is clear to see from a goalscoring perspective.
