yep at this stage of the season its a 9 point gap
3 points from three games is not promotion form but two very hard away games and derby games are never based on form.
I was at the game last night and I was amazed at our comeback. Not so much because I didn't think we had the quality, but we never seem to perform well for a midweek game after playing Ipswich on the Sunday and I put this down to mental fatigue. After being two down early in the first half, you start getting anxious about the final scoreline and the confidence it may do to the players. This squad is capable of promotion next season but two players are obviously key to that: Gunn and Madison.
To say there were 30k in attendance last night and they are top of the league, it felt quite flat. Almost expecting three points from the off.
