anyway do you ignore a blatant foul just because it's near to but not affacteing play?

I think he would have cut out the cross had he not been dragged away but whether he would or not is irrelevant.

As i've said above, the end result was we got to torment them with our late equaliser so i'm not that bothered but it was a pretty blatant foul. Would have been an even better scenario if the ref had disallowed it and then we'd gone up the other end and got a winner but not sure our CB's would have been up front in that scenario!
