Underachieving would be having good players who were playing below their ability

We had Russ Martin and/or Klose playing centre half for much of the season.

90% of fans don't think Russ is a centre half.

By his own admission Klose struggled to adapt to the Championship and got absolutely bullied on a number of occasisons.

We didn't underperform, our players weren't good enough.

It's pretty simple.
