Rick Waghorn is an arrogant, patronising imbecile.

Every time he writes 'citizen journalist' you can just see the condescension dripping off the pen with the ink. A little pat on the head for the 'citizen journalists', oh how deluded they are, seeing things with their little unprofessional eyes. How can they hope to see things accurately? Oh how he pities them.
