....now I've never seen Middleton play and my limited knowledge of him has come from NCFC press releases and clips of him playing and scoring for the under 19's on the internet. However, he looked bloody good and I'm definitely with those on this board who are shocked at his departure - especially on a permanent deal - as he has at some point been very highly rated and one for the future. Don't sell our best youngsters, just loan them out. Makes a lot of sense. This tweet obviously indicates something has gone wrong. Great shame - whatever has happened we need to try and learn from it to avoid it happening with other promising youngsters (always assuming we have other promising youngsters).
