On the train home
Very good win.
(Some) people think Brentford and think we should win, but they’re a good team and they don’t lose many at home.
I thought we would get a second up until about 60 mins, and it was a battle from then on. The midfield got too deep. Once we’re that deep tippy tappy passing gets into trouble, we needed to deploy the pump.
Leitner can clearly play, lovely pass for Maddison and a decent touch to win a foul.
Good day out, and what a goal from madders. Happy days.
