That’s lovely, I always went to see Mum at her little place in Russell St before the game
She always listened to the game and would ring to discuss with me as I drove back. She was 83 and 4ft nothing but was the hub which the entire extended family revolved and linked around. We try and replace her too by checking in the same way she did, but despite our best efforts, her effortless way of holding all together can’t be replaced. Although her loss has meant that we do make stronger attempts to stay in touch
