cheers pal. I avoid Thorn Lane like the plague, and basically use
2 or at most 3 of my current gears, so 3, provided the ratio's are not f**k, could be doable.
A pal had a bike about 10 years ago that was light as a feather (carbon?) and had just 3 gears, I can't remember the make and so am doomed to search forever for this 'futurebike'. it was incredible to ride.
