I grew up there.

Suburbia, really, but not a bad place to be. The NDR will make avoiding driving through the city if you need the A11 a bit easier, I guess. Sprowston High is a decent school or was last time I checked. It’s fairly easy to get into the city as well. New estates on the edge near Tesco, I don’t know what they’re like but my sister’s just bought a house there so it’s probably ok.
