My Alternative Restaurant Reviews Continued.... Cafe Rouge

Cafe Rouge - I went there once for a family reunion meal but the table service was so slow that we had a seance to try to get in touch with the waitress.

Aunt Beth placed her glass eye in the middle of the table. We all held hands in a circle.

"Waitress, are you there? If so, can you please bring some mini bread-sticks to table six?" said Aunty Beth in a forlorn voice. This obviously worked as the bread-sticks arrived only 4 hours later.

The main course arrived the next morning. Each meal was on its own plate sized platter with each part of the meal in its own little section so that no food group came in contact with another food group. 'Great' I thought, 'it's the same as a microwaveable frozen Sunday Dinner Meal for One available from Tescos for 99p'.

Uncle Roger wasn't happy. He complained about the atrocious service and food. He was the one paying the bill for all of it so wanted a discount. It was like trying to leave the EU with a good Brexit deal. Uncle Roger ended-up paying for the meal in full but walked-off with the salt and pepper pots. He gave them to cousin Richard as a wedding present.
