Godfrey looos like he could be that box to box central midfielder who allows us to play

with two strikers when we feel it’s right. Mentioned the other day that the only one we have at the moment who isn’t clearly an attacking midfielder or defensive midfielder is vrancic. But vrancic isn’t as direct as Godfrey. Those two, or Godfrey and a defensive midfielder, might be able to link midfield well enough withough exposing the back four. Having said that, our three new centre backs possibly plus Raggett would also allow us to depart from two defensive midfielders more often as well. Just without a howson or a Godfrey type if we tried it now we would just have a total disconnect in midfield.
