I once went to see Julian Clary at the theatre in Lowestoft. We were sitting quite a way
back, in front of us was a group of carers and some guys from a day centre. Julian said a joke that absolutely fell flat, however a chap from the group in front of us made some sort of involuntary grunt right in the middle of the silence.
Julian said "ah, I see I've struck a chord somewhere in the audience".
Suffice to say, the carers and most of our row just couldn't stop laughing, rather inappropriately.
