I know from first-hand experience both the terror the family will be feeling and the reality that there really could still be a positive outcome from all this. People who are a bit f**ked in the head - like me - can do the oddest things sometimes.
(*) Notwithstanding, it is obviously possible that she walked into the sea (I maintain it's a lot more possible that she didn't than most people will realise; but as time goes on that hope does diminish). What's left after this long in the sea won't be something you want your kids seeing. So please please please join the searches. But best leave the nippers at home. And hold them extra close before you go to bed.
