Since the fixture list came out I was looking forward to Hull, tho' I'm not sure why. Never been there, I suppose.

In the week leading up I was warned off a few times by mates - bad place to visit. I couldn't see any problem - nobody's likely to kick off on me and my bruv, pair of doddering old farts as we are.

But, came the day, my bruv called me in the morning to discuss times and junctions and that.... and we realised that we didn't want to spend that much wonga to watch Hughes. So we stopped at home.

that's twice this season I've scrubbed on the day. Wolves was the other. I'd only have gone out of a feeling of compulsion. We aren't worth the price, at the moment.

Part timer? Yeh, probably, but one who's a few quid richer.
