He plays some great shots. probably more of a no 5 or 6 i'd say. We lack a player at 3 who

can dig in like Trott did in his prime. Was a pretty crucial anchor for us.

Need a genuine captains innings from root now and for Malan, Moeen and Bairstow to each stay with him for a decent spell of time.
