Fascinating to see how our approach has changed in recent weeks. Suggest some people have perhaps been sidelined from the negotiations and May is now taking the view that she has to get past these impasses.
I am guessing that they ahave taken quite careful advice on what the wording actually means re allignment and that also they are banking on the trade side of things being sorted otherwise we may have to renege on some of these "commitments."
