I don't think we lost confidence from that, more the players were physically ruined
Since then they've looked shot to peices and we've been injury ravaged. This in turn has seen an unbalanced team, some worse results and a resultant drop in confidence.
It's no coincidence as well that our form tailed off when Trybull had a dip in form post Arsenal and whilst he's been injured.
I feel that certain players like him, Nelson, Jerome and not been managed very well, in part due to the lack of other options. I also wonder if the hard training regime has taken a toll given how many injuries we seem to have which do not appear to flow from contact incidents.
