I actually thought we played quite well last night,
passed the ball well, attacked with a bit of pace.
Maddison and Wes got higher up the pitch.
Vrancic and Reed especially worked hard and looked ok.
Pinto and Steeplejack got forward when they could.
We had two teams playing a similar style which sometimes made the match like a game of chess.
If Watkins and Olivera had taken their chances it would have been a different result.
It was a much better performance than the last few home matches.
But both teams went for it.
However, it doesn't hide the fact that we do have quite a few pretty average players: Watkins, Zimmerman, Franke, Husband, Stiepermann, Wildschut.
Vrancic is a decent player struggling with the pace of Championship football, Jerome looks past it and Murphy just looks disinterested. Outrageous dive last night, should have been booked. It puts a lot of responsibility on Maddison, Wes, Pinto and Olivera.
We could be in for a relegation battle this year as we have the worst 5 match record in the league, 1 point.
If Olivera, Maddison and Reed go, with no money it could be very difficult next season.

- Agree with all of that. We were def. the better team, Forest crowd silenced, until goal. (n/m) (NCFC) - derbyshire canary, Nov 22, 09:51:11
