In my case Dubs, it would be because your suggested ones are

vile. So are mushy peas tbh.
salt is the only allowable addition to Fish and Chips (and the fish has to be Haddock)
Apparently, Alfred Wainwright existed on virtually nowt else but Fish and Chips
