Because nobody is going to do it. Name some clubs that get investment this way? Pretty much all football clubs are massive loss making enterprises and absolutely nobody is going to give one a meaningful amount of money to piss away without acquiring control of the club. The kind of loans (secured) you are talking about are not giving the club a penny because they get back every pound they put in, which (plus the interest) will totally cripple the club in the likely event that we don't get promoted. Only a gift will do us any good and that will only happen with a change of ownership. Without which any talk of any possible 'investment' is just total fantasy.
