My take on yesterday . . .
Great team performance.
Reed and Trybull worked their socks off.
Maddison and Wes played some really good stuff together, in the first half.
Klose and Zimmerman were really good against the long ball s**t.
Jerome was being constantly wrestled by their centre backs and given no protection from the ref. So it was a bit rich that the ref gave two ridiculous free kicks against us in the first half, from which they could have scored.
Angus had very little to do so did get good protection.
Wildschut looked good but his decision making needs to improve.
Glad Hanley came on for Zimmerman. Not sure what the point of Franke is any more. Perhaps he will go in January.
All the good football came from us, they were quite predictable.
They may have had slightly more possession but, as we noticed at the beginning of the season, possession does not necessarily mean goals.
Empty seats for a derby? What's that about?
I think they are in financial trouble. They still use those stupid sprinklers with huge hose pipes that need to be dragged on to the pitch.
But I did like the 'Fanzone' with live music and bouncy castles and stuff outside the ground.
Still took nearly an hour to get the car out of the car park.
Very little coverage on 5-Live after the mach.
