This was taken from further down:
"Hamilton showed no hope with norwich in the time he was here, so no, we were right to sack him."
This sums up exactly why I don't trust the board over the decision about Worthy.
The facts are:
We reached December in a poor position, the fans wanted Hamilton out, he left, Nigel came in and got us in the playoffs. This shows what can happen if a failing manager leaves and a new one comes in.
My point though is that Hamilton wasn't sacked and I thought that Delia begged him to stay! So had we had her way, Nigel would never have got the job in the first place.
As we all know we reached a similar situation last December and just like then, Delia thought keeping the manager was the correct thing to do. She was wrong in 2000 and my opinion is that she is wrong again.
So when Delia says Nigel is the man to take us forward, it isn't the first time she has thought that about a manager.
And I know the circumstances are different and am not trying to knock Delia, but those are my thoughts.
Any views?
