I agree he COULD get us promoted again, particularly with the sort of luck we had in 2003/4. It is possible to do OK in this division with hard work and a bit of skill and luck. But the managers with that sort of emphasis (Megson & McCarthy can be added to the list) will never thrive in the Prem, where possession and technical quality are king. I simply cannot see Worthy being a successful Prem manager any more than I can those other two. If we are really serious about becoming established in the Prem, rather than just gaining the odd promotion to put money in the coffers, I think we need someone with a better grounding in modern passing football (I don't expect us to be Brazil but I DO expect us to be able to dominate possession of the ball when playing at home against 10 men, as opposed to what happened against Brighton last night and Blackburn and Birmingham last season)
