Wright was playing at RB when at least one, and at one point both, of our new right backs were fit. Worthy had just decided they weren't good enough.

As for the other 7 loan signings - a good proportion of those were also brought in to replace the summer signings (Jarrett for example - who'd already been sent out on loan himself).

Worthy has to take responsibility for the dog's dinner he made of the summer signings, I'm afraid.
