It could really have kicked off massively

Many of our fans had already left or were coming out of the other exit but there were just no police around at all and had we had a proper pop back at them it would have been a major running battle.

I'm not one for violence but had we witnessed some of our fans on the floor getting a kicking like that then I think our group certainly would have jumped in. As it was we were all on our way back to the city centre by the time this happened.
