4-2-3-1 isn't really a diamond formation. Wes should be central behind Olive...

so that Wes has more passing options to get people in for a chance to score.

Playing Vrancic in that central position means that Wes isn't as effective, plus Vrancic isn't as good in that central position as Wes.

Then having 2 defensive central mids behind Wes means that Wes can get more forwards and Olive doesn't have to go so deep looking to get on the ball.

Fake seems to be learning that starting Tetley makes the team harder to beat. Now Farke needs to learn that Wes needs to be central creating good chances for Olive, Murph, Madd's and Watkins.

If Wes isn't fit then I'd put Madd's in that position or Pitch (when fit).
