We don't have the cash to pay big transfer fees...
But I would bet we have quite a big wage bill still.
The question that needs to be asked is whether we're getting value for money from the players soaking up that bill.
Who are our most costly players?
Cameron Jerome - not getting value at the moment
Naismith - not getting value
Oliveira - getting value
Pritchard - injured
Wes - he's Wes, say no more
Tettey - not getting value
Jarvis - definitely not getting value
That's where the issue lies. We're still paying out some big wages but we're not getting our moniesworth.
We bought poorly from the start of the hughton era through to more or less today, with the odd exception.
