This was one of the few games where I think Russ actually looked off the pace...

And just made one mistake after another. One where people can actually legitimately question his position in the starting 11 and not lazily name him as the escape goat that he was perceived to be last season.

That was probably the worst I've ever seen him play. Nothing went for him at all, although he wasn't really helped by the midfield in front of him.
