Reading Doncaster's emails below

it just seems that they really have no idea whatsoever about football. Not the business of football, but the game of football.

Yes, you have to trust the judgement of the manager (unless you own Hearts) but there comes a time when someone on the Board has to realise that some of the questions that have been asked in the media (the columnists not the correspondents) are very valid ones and need answering and addressing.

At the moment they're simply not being answered and the Board are brushing everything to the side by saying "he's been good before so he can be good again".

Have they not studied the history of football, where all managers eventually get sacked, where all managers eventually go stale?

There are obviously one or two exceptions to this rule, but generaly it holds true that 4 or 5 years in charge of one club is long enough and things usually start to go tits up after that.

At the moment ND and the Board are doing a very good job of listening to the fans - they just appear to be listening and then ignoring totally.
