Spoilers for S7E6 - don't open if you've not seen it
I agree re dissatisfaction - I already find the Jon/Dany cliché annoying - and I thought more of the Magnificent Seven might die. Thoros was a good character and I really enjoyed his interplay with the Hound, but it would have been more emotionally impactful if one of Tormund or Jorah had died - all the more so if that person then became the wight that got taken back. Honestly I'd have thought of the seven maybe three or four survived.
Very convenient that the White Walker they killed had sired all the wights they'd found but one. However that was hardly the biggest logic hole/Very Convenient Happening and I've decided not to apply that logical part of my brain to this season as it will stop me enjoying it.
