I guess that raises the posibility that 46 games is not a big enough
sample size to draw reliable conclusions from. If a team goes on a 15-20 match streak with a lot of luck then they could get promoted despite not being that good.
I guess we know that already though, with things like Leicester winning the league happening. Or us under Lambert.
